Mystery Creek Ceramics

Mystery Creek Ceramics is a Kihikihi based ceramic studio with a range of thrown and handbuilt ceramics and an absolute passion for colour. 

Alex is also a passionate teacher who's classes and workshops are adaptable to all levels of learning with clay. She teaches her nerikomi technique, throwing, slab building, tableware construction, printing on clay as well as more technical subjects such a kiln firing in electric, gas and recently wood fire kilns. As well as the hands on, Alex's favorite part of teaching is working with students to develop and push their ideas in ceramics and other mediums with critique and mentoring to move the student forward in their creative journey.
